The Course Syllabus offered in the ASI is centered in Contextual Faith experiences of one’s relationship with God, oneself, humankind, state or analogous social entity and with humankind in their personal, family, communal and societal realities in the light of philosophical and/or religious perspectives and Christian Social Teachings (CSTs) / Christian Social Doctrine (CSD). The Course Syllabus on Philosophy of Commitment to Total Human Development (PCTHD) tries to internalize in the students the meaning of creation spirituality and total human development based on the essential elements of various human and religious-cultural perspectives, Christian Faith and Gospel in the modern world, as well as make them understand the relevance of their social science discipline and its contribution to total (integral) human development and socio-cultural transformation towards justice, peace and integrity of creation, so that they can become professionals on their commitment to a movement of transformational praxis rooted in eco-spirituality/creation spirituality.
